Renovation

Revitalizing Spaces, Enriching Lives

Enhanced Outdoor and Indoor Spaces

The project kicked off with substantial landscaping efforts, transforming the outdoor areas into beautiful and accessible spaces for residents. The landscaping not only beautifies the surroundings but also makes it easier for seniors to navigate and enjoy the outdoors.

Alongside the visual upgrades, substantial structural changes were made, including a new roofing system. This essential improvement ensures better protection against weather elements, enhancing the overall safety and durability of the building.

Security and Accessibility Enhancements

Recognizing the importance of security for both residents and staff, a new security fence was erected around the perimeter. This addition helps to ensure a safe and secure environment, giving peace of mind to both the inhabitants and their families.

In a move to promote an active lifestyle and engagement among the seniors, a wheelchair-friendly vegetable garden was built. This thoughtful addition allows residents to participate in gardening, providing both physical activity and a sense of accomplishment as they can contribute to the growing of fresh produce which can be used in their meals.

Upgrades to Essential Services

A major part of the renovation focused on overhauling the home's vital systems to ensure they meet current safety and efficiency standards. The entire electrical system was rewired, addressing the modern power needs and safety concerns that are crucial for a facility catering to vulnerable populations.

Plumbing was another critical area of focus. The renovations included the installation of new water filters and water pumps, ensuring clean and reliable water supply. Additionally, water heaters were installed, and toilets and bathrooms were refurbished to accommodate the specific needs of senior citizens, improving accessibility and safety.

Sustainable Practices

Adding to the environmental initiatives of the home, a compose shed was constructed to manage organic waste. This facility not only helps in reducing waste but also aids in producing compost that can be used to enrich the soil in the garden, promoting sustainability.
